Save your plastic lids!
Any plastic lid from a milk jug, soda liters, peanut butter jars, or any plastic top, is needed! Meadowthorpe Elementary students are saving plastic lids to meet the goal of 400 pounds, which will be melted to create a plastic, adult-sized park bench for their playground. Sandersville Elementary recently completed this task in only 4 months.
Ask grandparents, friends and set-up a collection container at your office! Drop off lids in plastic containers or plastic baggies to Meadowthorpe Elementary or send in the backpack to school. Everyone's help is needed!
